Here you can find hand-painted digital pet portraits with a traditional look and feel. I offer both colored pencil and oil painting style portraits, and I put a lot of love and care into creating them, so you have something that can last as a memory.

Please note all prices are for personal (non-commercial) use only. See "Usage Rights" below for a breakdown of what personal use means.
If you want to make money with or profit from the artwork in any way, we'll have to set up a custom contract that allows for commercial use. Commercial rates are higher than what is listed here.Pricing
Head only (base price): USD $80 (Can include some parts of the body depending on the pose)
Full body: +USD $40 (This applies to most larger animals. Very small pets such as most rodents, fish or birds will not have an extra charge for this. Please feel free to ask if unsure.)
Additional animal in the same picture: +USD $60 each.
Detailed background: +USD $80 or more depending on complexity.Size of the artwork
Default size will be A4 (8.3 x 11.7 inches) at 300dpi, or a custom size of your choice that covers a similar area. For something much smaller or larger, pricing will change. In this case, please contact me before buying.
Commission process
1) Click this link to fill out the order form. If you don't want to use the form, or if you just have a question, you can also email me instead (karinwittig at yahoo.de).2) Once we have agreed on everything, I will confirm your commission and let you know an approximate starting date (in case there is a queue). Please do not send any payments until I am ready to get started on your artwork.3) I will send you a payment request for 50% of the final agreed upon price and start working on your commission once it's been paid. Average turnaround time for simple headshots is less than a week once I have started, assuming I get feedback on works in progress within a day.4) I always work closely with my clients and send several works in progress to make sure we are always on the same page. You will receive at least three stages of the process, sometimes more depending on the complexity of the artwork -- a first sketch, a rough color pass, and the final artwork at low resolution. You can give your feedback on each stage and request changes (if needed).5) Once you are happy with the artwork and I have received the second half of the payment, I will send you the high resolution file of your artwork which you can have printed at a printing service of your choice! If you don't know a good printer, I can also make a print available for you in my Inprnt store.
Terms of Service
By placing an order, you must have read and agreed to these terms. Let me know if anything is unclear or if you have any questions!- Payment will be 50% up front and 50% on completion.
- No refunds for work already completed.
- Free revisions only within reason.
- You must be of legal age to commission me.
- Don't make money with my work in any way unless you buy commercial rights.
- Payment via Paypal. I also accept bank transfer from EU banks.
- I only accept EUR or USD as currency.
- The final artwork is a digital file that will be delivered by email or an upload service. No physical products will be sent. If you specifically ask for the print to be made available in my Inprnt store, you will be able to order a print from that store separately.
- In case you become unresponsive for a period of over two weeks while I'm working on your image (without prior notice), I may drop the work and consider the project cancelled. There will be no refunds.
- In case I cancel the commission from my end, you will receive a full refund.
- You are not authorized to issue a chargeback for any reason.
- Communication will be through email only.
Usage Rights
- You may post the finished artwork to your personal (non-profit) website or social media (including reuploads, profile pictures, banners, etc.).
- You may also use it in an unmonetized YouTube video, Twitch stream or other video format.
- You may use the artwork to make prints or other goods for yourself or as gifts.
- You may not alter the artwork in any way (except for cropping or resizing when needed).
- The artwork may not be used for any commercial purposes.
- Using the artwork as part of a brand (such as a logo, a channel avatar, or a Vtuber character) is not permitted.
- The artwork may not be used in any blockchain-related technology, including NFTs, or used in the training of an AI model.
- I reserve the right to use the artwork (including works in progress) in my portfolio and other self-promotional purposes including posting on social media. If you'd like your artwork to remain completely private, you must let me know beforehand. Private commissions come with an extra fee.
- The original artwork remains my property. You cannot claim ownership over the artwork in any way, and you cannot claim that you made it. The reference image remains your property (or the property of the rights holder in case someone else took it).
